We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Recruiter who is motivated to learn about attracting and securing qualified linguists for private and government interpreting opportunities while expanding the company’s network of freelance interpreters.

We go through a process of sourcing, verification of skill set/ certifications, rate negotiation and internal database updates for each vendor partner that we onboard. One of our main responsibilities is to build strong relationships with our linguists and maintain it by helping them with any issues or questions they may have, as well as to ensure good communication between our clients and internal employees. Candidates must be organized, solution oriented, energetic, effective communicators, team oriented, and thrive in a fast paced environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Assist with both proactive & reactive requests for interpreters
  • Oversee the full life cycle of the onboarding process for interpreters including, recruitment, screening, verification of skills/ certifications, documentation, and overview of our case management system
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with linguists locally, nationally, & globally
  • Recruit new interpreters and any other necessary resources as needed
  • Maintain accurate interpreter records, including medical clearance items, W9, industry specific certificates
  • Update and maintain interpreter profiles in the central database
  • Assist with drafting vendor facing communication including newsletters & other change communications
  • Assist with drafting new vendor & system materials to remain updated and complaint
  • Attend trade shows, recruitment fairs, and conferences as needed
  • Perform other special projects or duties when required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to negotiate, maintain budgets, and schedules
  • Superior writing and communication skills within a professional context
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members when needed
  • Ability to maintain and update vast amounts of information accurately
